The inaugural roadshow took place on March 20, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza, Ahmedabad featuring three industry experts as panellists along with a moderator. The Pharma Pro&Pack Expo is scheduled from July 9-11, 2026 at Hitex Exhibition Center, Hyderabad.
The topic of the panel discussion during the road show was “Future of Pharma Manufacturing: Trends Transforming the Industry” and to share the views on the same, the industry experts enlightened the delegates with their decades of industry experience.
The distinguished panel comprising industry leaders at the roadshow were Sandeep Raktate, President Operations, Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Naresh Kumar Gaur, Executive Vice President – Operations, Stallion Laboratories Pvt. Ltd and Sanjay Sharma, Sr. VP & Head – Manufacturing Science & Technology, Zydus Group. The panel discussion was well moderated by Dr. Sanjit Singh Lamba, Managing Partner – Trillyum Consulting & Advisory.
The panel focused first on digitalisation and smart manufacturing. Discussion centred on how pharma plants are beginning to use tools such as MES, AI and predictive analytics to improve efficiency, reduce human error and support more data-led quality decisions.
A recurring theme was that automation can add significant value, but only when backed by strong process ownership and human accountability. The conversation then turned to regulatory readiness and global compliance. With Indian companies operating under increasing scrutiny from global markets, panellists discussed the importance of staying inspection-ready through stronger quality systems, better digital traceability and a deeper culture of compliance. The discussion reflected the growing importance of preparing not just for audits, but for sustained operational discipline.
