EEPC India, under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, successfully organized an industry interaction session titled “Advancing Excellence for Pharma Machinery & Laboratory Equipment” on 3rd June, 2026 at Mumbai.
The session was organized as part of the outreach activities leading up to the 2nd edition of Pharma MachTech & LabNext Expo 2026, scheduled to be held from 7th- 9th September, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The programme brought together policymakers, industry leaders, international trade representatives, exporters, financial institutions, and stakeholders from the pharmaceutical machinery and laboratory equipment sectors to discuss opportunities, technology trends, export growth, and international collaboration.
The session commenced with welcome remarks by EEPC India, followed by a presentation on Pharma MachTech & LabNext Expo 2026 by C. H. Nadiger, Regional Director – Western Region, EEPC India, highlighted it as a unique event, the vision, objectives, and international participation planned for the upcoming exhibition.
Ratan Singhania, President – IPMMA, enlightened the growing importance of India’s pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing sector in supporting the country’s position as a global pharmaceutical hub.
The event also witnessed participation from prominent international organizations. Ms. Siti Nur Nafhatun Awang Tuah, Deputy Trade Commissioner, MATRADE Mumbai, Consulate General of Malaysia, delivered a keynote presentation highlighting trade and business opportunities between India and Malaysia. Shazri Hidayat Abd Shukor, Consul (Investment) and Director, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), also addressed the participants and emphasized the growing potential for industrial collaboration and investment partnerships in the sector.
Ashwin Golapkar, Deputy DGFT Mumbai, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of strengthening India’s manufacturing and export ecosystem in the pharmaceutical and healthcare engineering sectors.
The session further included insightful presentations by industry and financial experts from 360tf and Count Infinity Services Private Limited undercovering the importance of various financial instruments in exports trade.
Praful Umare, IEDS, Deputy Director, MSME-DFO Mumbai, highlighted various initiatives of the Ministry of MSME and shared valuable insights on MSME development, innovation, competitiveness, and emerging growth opportunities for the industry.
The programme concluded with an engaging interactive Q&A session, followed by a Vote of Thanks proposed by Rakesh Suraj, Regional Director, EEPC India.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 100 delegates representing pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmaceutical machinery companies, laboratory equipment suppliers, exporters, industry associations, and trade stakeholders from Mumbai and the surrounding region.
Several participants not only expressed strong interest in exhibiting at Pharma MachTech & LabNext Expo 2026 and exploring the business opportunities offered by the platform, but also confirmed their participation by booking exhibition space immediately after the event.
The programme also received extensive coverage across leading industry and trade publications in India, significantly enhancing the visibility and outreach of the exhibition among key stakeholders.
