Pharmac India 2017- We have signed a MOU with Orbit Exhibitions Pvt Ltd to give Logo Support and special discounted price for IPMMA members to participate in Pharmac India 2017. To promote show they have arranged three Road Shows at Ankleshwar and Vadodara on 7 th October 2017 And Ahmedabad on 10 th October 2017.
A good number of IPMMA members and Pharmaceutical manufacturers were present at the road shows to promote Pharmac India 2017, which was held at Ahmedabad on 7, 8 & 9 th November 2017. Overall the road shows were good.
Pharmac India 2017, a colossal exhibition dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry was started from 7 th to 9 th November 2017, at the Gujarat University Exhibition and Convention Centre Ahmedabad.
Shri H. G. Koshia, Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration (Gujarat) and Shri Arvind Kukrety, Deputy DCGI (Ahmedabad Zone), Government of India inaugurated the ceremony.
Gujarat accounts for 33% of the national pharmaceuticals market. Its contribution is expected grow and touch 40% by 2020 as the benefits of GST trickle in and a skewed tax structure is ruled out. There will be specific discussions on procurement in pharmaceuticals industry and opportunities for contract manufacturers and engineering industries in Gujarat in the post- GST era.
